About
Mphonyana Princess Mokokwe is a Botswana-based writer and director working across film, television, and theatre. Her work includes Netflix and UNESCO’s African Folktales Re-imagined, the award-winning film Seipone, Buying the Cow for DSTV M-Net, and the African adaptation of Liar. Alongside her screen work, she has contributed to international productions such as Hunted and has an extensive background in arts education. Her storytelling centers bold, culturally resonant African narratives with global relevance.
